Many people there still speak Scottish ↑Gaelic, and the main industries are sheep farming and producing goods made of wool, especially Harris tweed. The area attracts many tourists in summer. English people sometimes use this name to represent any place that is very far away from the places where most people live▪ You would have to be living in the Outer Hebrides not to have heard about Harry Potter.
